Senior, Megan Jenson (left), was nominated because she is so determined and adaptable. She never complains and maintains a positive attitude despite facing obstacles.
Brecken Layne (middle), Senior, is always very kind and respectful to everyone in the classroom. He can always be counted on him to make anyone feel comfortable in Social Dance II, as well as be willing to go the extra mile to help those around him.
McKenzie Sorensen, Junior, is a very hard working and positive student. She always comes to class ready to learn, anxious to try new things, and wearing a big smile.
Caps and gowns will be distributed to graduates on Monday, May 14, if students are in good standing with graduation requirements and all financial obligations have been met. The graduates will be issued “keeper” gowns and will not be required to turn them in after graduation.
Senior Packets will be handed out at the Senior Class Meeting on May 1. Packets contain immunization records, birth certificates, and other important information.
A Graduation Meeting will be held in the Auditorium on Tuesday, May 29, at 9:00 a.m. All graduates are expected to attend to receive information and instructions about the graduation ceremony.

Parking is permitted in the “E” parking lots north of the Spectrum. Parking is not permitted west of the Spectrum. Handicapped guests requiring handicapped seating can be dropped off at the tunnel door on the southwest corner of the Spectrum.
Balloons are not permitted inside the Spectrum.
Graduates are not permitted on the floor of the Spectrum before graduation begins and after the recessional.
Sections reserved for audience seating are the three sections on the north and south sides of the Spectrum. Graduates will be seated on the floor of the Spectrum; girls on the north side and boys on the south side.
Handicapped seating is available on the north side of the floor of the Spectrum. The person requiring handicapped seating and one other person should enter through the tunnel on the southwest side of the building.
USU requires that audience members do not go onto the floor of the Spectrum at any time.
Parents and guests are asked to remain in their seats during the graduation ceremony and not to come forward to take pictures.
Audience is requested to hold applause until all graduates’ names have been read. Names will be read rather quickly. Please be courteous so all graduates’ names can be heard clearly.
Lasers, horns and all other noise-makers are not permitted in the Spectrum.
LifeTouch Photography will be set up to take a photo of each graduate as he/she receives his/her diploma cover. They will contact you with purchasing information.
